Pete R. Rosenberger

61, of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2026. Pete was born in Indianapolis to his parents Thomas and Thyra Rosenberger on December 20th, 1964. After high school, Pete attended Indiana University and IUPUI prior to beginning his lengthy career as an insurance claims adjuster. He worked for The Hartford Insurance for many years before venturing out to several other firms. Outside of his professional life, Pete was an avid watcher and lover of football. He proudly rooted for the Colts and IU every season.  Pete was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Thyra and brother John Rosenberger. He is survived by many family members and friends, including his beloved sons Thomas and Trevor Rosenberger; step-daughter Abby Johnson; brothers Kurt (Jill) Rosenberger and Scott Rosenberger; several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th from 11 am to 1 pm at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services to follow at 1 pm. Pete will then be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
