Obituary

Philip O. Riddle, 80, Brownsburg, passed away on April 20, 2015. He was born on May 6, 1934 in Burkesville, KY to the late Lee and Eunice Riddle. He came to Indiana In October 1952 where he was employed with General Motors/Allison Division, and Chevrolet Truck and Bus Division. He retired from G.M. in 1992 after 37 ½ years. He then went on to work as a contractor with Bill William in Clermont. He was a member of the Brownsburg Church of Christ. Philip married Ruby Logan on May 13, 1951. Along with his wife of 64 years, Philip is survived by a son, Mark Riddle (Myrna) of Avon; two grandsons, Mitchel Riddle of Avon, and Michael Riddle of Terre Haute; a brother, Nile Riddle (Ruth); and a sister, Nadine Jennings (Bob) all of Hodgenville, KY. He had a special little girl Beth Kelley Koselke and her brothers Brian Kelley of Miami, FL and Sean of L.A. California. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband and father, and we will miss him dearly. Visitation will be from 3p.m. to 7p.m. Thurs April 23 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 10a.m. on Friday April 24. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
