Phyllis H. Jones, 97, of Brownsburg, born December 23, 1926, passed from this life into the presence of Jesus, her Lord and Savior on December 9, 2024. She was a long-time member of Parkside Bible Church (Bethesda Baptist).

She loved working hard and had many careers - from bank teller to manager of Brownsburg Bible and Bookstore to selling real estate for F. C. Tucker for over 20 years. She loved being with family and would find any opportunity to bring them together.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband David Jones, parents Fred Holt and Elsie LaFoe, and brothers Delbert Holt and John Holt. Survivors include children Diana Halsey Overton (Len), Nancy Williams (Mike), David Jones (Wendy), Jeffry Jones (Carol) and Kathy Lyle (Jim); 9 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm Saturday, December 14 at Parkside Bible Church, 7950 N. CR 650E, Brownsburg, IN 46112, with funeral services there at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at Brownsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Bethesda Christian School Building fund.
