Phyllis I. Nichols
age 88, Brownsburg, passed away Feb. 18, 2013. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Primitive Baptist Church, Fayette. She was preceded in death by her husband E.W. Nichols. Survivors include son Gordon (Julia) Nichols; daughters Sandra (Larry) Baumgardner and Dawnette (Dan) Bidle; stepdaughter Carol Vlahakis; brother James Watkins; sister Jane Burkett; grandchildren Tyler (Peggy) Baumgardner, Dwanae (Greg) Benge, Briana Bidle, Sheri (Eric) Anderson, Rodger Nichols, Jeremiah (Sophie) Nichols, and George (Donna) Vlahakis; 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-8pm Thurs. Feb. 21 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 10am Fri. Feb. 22. Burial will be at Sparks Cemetery, Pittsboro.
