Phyllis J. "Jeannie" Solomon
83, Pittsboro, passed away on October 23, 2023. She worked as an inspector for and retired from General Motors. She was an avid Wheel of Fortune fan. Phyllis was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, and mother and was preceded in death by her husband Gregory Solomon; son Kelly Smith; parents Herbert and Anna Kendall; brothers Wayne Kendall, Ronald Kendall, Michael Kendall, and Rodney Kendall. Survivors include her children Bryce (Leasa) Smith, Michelle (Richard II) Brickert, Lora (Richard) Starrett, Brandi Schueler, brothers Phillip Kendall, Charles Kendall; and countless grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by a son, Bradley. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Mon. Nov. 6 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm.
