Obituary

Ralph Eugene (Gene) Baker
of Brownsburg, IN passed away at Seton Hospital in Indianapolis on Sept. 18, 2012. He was born in Martin County to the late Hazel Rainey and Willie Baker. Ralph attended Oolitic High School. He later went to work at Times Mail in Bedford. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea. He worked at Paul Egenolf & Associates as a machinist. He then retired from Herff Jones in 1997. He was a member of the Clermont Christian Church. Visitation will be Thurs. Sept. 20, from 5-8pm at Clermont Christian Church in Clermont, IN. Graveside services will be in Owensburg Cemetery in Greene County at 11am Fri. Sept. 21. Ralph is survived by his wife, Janice Baker; daughter Phetney Cleveland; two step daughters, Joanna Rutenbeck of Port Townsend, WA and Jeanna Petry of Fishers; six grandchildren; a brother Bob Baker of Olympia, WA and sister Nan Faubian of Bedford. He was preceded in death by one step daughter and a daughter in law.
