Randy Eugene Michael Chambers 81, Brownsburg, passed away on January 8, 2025. He was a member of the Indiana Air National Guard as a young man. Randy retired from American Electric Power in 2002 after spending 34 years in several Human Resources leadership positions, at a few of their subsidiaries as well, including Indiana -Michigan Power and Appalachian Power. He was preceded in death by his son Randy "Chip" Eugene Michael Chambers II; parents Virgil and Dolores Chambers; sister Marilyn Riggs; brothers Marvin and Larry Chambers. Randy is survived by his loving wife Candee Chambers, and five daughters, Jennifer Chambers, Lara Chambers, Erin (Jeff) Witt, Lindsay (John) Graves and Meghan (Mikey Meagher) Chambers. He was also a proud grandfather of his nine grandchildren.

Randy was a man who would surprise most with his multitude of interests. He was an athlete and a true outdoorsman. Through the years, he won a decathlon competition, he had his black belt in Jiu Jitsu and Judo, he loved competitive marksmanship events (and won several competitions as a young man), deer hunting, fishing (offshore or from his own boat), and riding his beloved Honda Gold Wing on many adventures.

He had a sense of humor that will remain with his family forever. He loved to make people laugh and most importantly, he could also laugh at himself. He will be sorely missed by his loving family.
