Raymond Howard Brest, Jr.

Ray was born in Sharon, PA May 4, 1946, to Della Lucille (Hough) Brest and the late Raymond Howard Brest, Sr.

He was a 1965 graduate of Reynolds High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked at Reznor for over 30 years.

Over the years, Ray coached various Little League Baseball teams and Girls Softball teams. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, fishing, traveling, and never passed up a game of cards. He was a cranky old cuss who hated everything but loved hard.

He married his beloved Patricia (Maloney) Brest on September 12, 1983. She survives at home.  Also surviving are daughters: Michelle Ball of Brownsburg, IN, Maureen (Samuel) Warne of Salisbury, NC, and Jill (Shawn) Harpst of Greenville, PA, and 11 grandchildren. He also leaves behind siblings: Nancy (David) Innes, Linda Kettering, Alan (Lee) Brest, and Rand (Kim) Brest as well as various nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and two sons: Patrick Noll of Dallas, GA, and Brian Brest of Greenville PA.
