Raymond E. Magee

83, Brownsburg, passed away February 14, 2025.  He had been a machinist for Link Belt for 42 years, retiring in 2001.  A lifelong resident of Brownsburg and Hendricks County, Raymond loved to be outdoors and was an avid gardener.  He especially enjoyed family trips to Florida and morning coffee with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Ethel Magee and brother James Arnold Magee.  Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Judy Magee; children Brad (Tina) Magee and Melissa (Pat) Metallic; grandchildren Adam (Maria) Metallic, Tori (Blake) Green and Lauren Metallic; brother Ken Magee; sister Anna Magee.  Visitation will be from 10am to 1pm Thursday Feb. 20 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1pm.  Burial will follow at Brownsburg Cemetery. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and care team at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Brighton Hospice and The Gathering Together for all of their care and support.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Gathering Together, 147 N.
