Rebecca was born to Ralph E. Dailey & Phyllis J. (Tschantz) Dailey on April 25, 1953, in Huntington, Indiana and graduated from Huntington North High School in 1971. She went on to work for 40 years as an ocean export specialist in the international freight industry in both Chicago, IL and Indianapolis, IN. She retired several years ago from Cargo Services, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN.
Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which supported her and ultimately gave her peace. Rebecca will be remembered as warm and loving, with great compassion for others, enormous generosity, a bright smile, playful laughter, and a wicked sense of humor. She was an adored daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
Rebecca is survived by her brother, Terry Dailey of Huntington, IN, her nephew, Aaron, her niece, Anne and great niece and nephews, Grace, Jack, Cater and Finn Dailey of Ohio. She is predeceased by her father, Ralph, mother, Phyllis, and former husband, Gordon Robertson.
There are no events planned, as she did not wish to have services. In honor of Rebecca, you may make donations to the Zion United Methodist Church of Huntington, IN to which the Dailey family were devoted members.
"Remember, that I command you to be strong and brave. Don't be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go". (Joshua 1:9)
