Rene J. Torrella
Age 76, Pittsboro, passed away Nov. 2, 2016. A graduate of Purdue University School of Pharmacy, he had been a pharmacist for many years before retiring. He was a member of St. Malachy Church. Survivors include his wife Marlene Torrella; children Andrew Torrella, Tracy Snell, Carrie Torrella McCord, and Abigail Chauhan; mother Hilda Torrella; brother Carlos Torrella; sisters Regina Torrella and Roxann Tanner; 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon Friday Nov. 4 at St. Malachy Church with funeral mass there at 12 noon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
