Richard L. Allen

77, Pittsboro, passed away Nov. 3, 2020.  Richard had been an assistant engineer for Conrail, retiring in 1996.  He attended Traders Point Christian Church and was an avid NASCAR and baseball fan.  His other pastime was working jigsaw puzzles.  Survivors include his wife Anita Allen; children David Allen and Lisa (Chris) Walker; grandchildren Sarah and Julia Walker; cousin Kenneth Allen.  Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm Wed. Nov. 11 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1pm.  Entombment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery.  In compliance with current restrictions and regulations, guests are required to wear masks and observe social distancing.  Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www.americanheart.org
