Richard "Dick" Anthony Sulkoske
92, of Pittsboro, Indiana passed away on April 19, 2025.  Born July 11, 1932, in Falls Creek, PA, he was the only child of the late Francis J. and Valeria M. (Regard) Sulkoske.  Dick was a 1951 graduate of Wellsville Ohio High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University in 1955.  He was a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Ohio and was a member of the United States Air Force Reserve.  Following graduation from Ohio he joined Allison Gas Turbine Division of General Motors (presently Rolls Royce) and worked in the engineering department in the design and development of gas turbine engines.  In 1990 he retired as head of the Gas Turbine Performance Analysis Group.  He married the love of his life Donna M. Barnes on September 29, 1956, who preceded him in death on September 19, 2016.  Dick had many interests and hobbies and enjoyed travel and the outdoors, especially jogging and hiking.  Survivors include his sons Daniel Sulkoske, John (Cheri) Sulkoske, David (Shelly) Sulkoske; daughter-in-law Wendi Sulkoske; grandchildren Sarah (Ryan) Ades, Emma (Molly) Sulkoske, Thomas Sulkoske, Alexandra Sulkoske, Nicholas Sulkoske, Samantha Sulkoske, Jacob Sulkoske, Rachel Sulkoske; great grandchildren Rylee and Liam Ades.  Memorial Mass will be at 12 pm Sat. May 10 at St. Malachy Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Malachy West Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Misty Eyes Animal Center at www.mistyeyes.org
