Richard Allen Burnett 81, Brownsburg, was born May 12, 1929 and passed away March 17, 2011. He was the loving husband of JoAn Ruechel Burnett for 63 years who survives. His mother Rosamond P. Burnett Coleman, stepfather Francis Coleman, and daughter Rebecca Jo Hamilton preceded him in death. He was a dairy farmer for 35 years, home builder, and a construction supervisor for Shiel Sexton, before retiring in 1994. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Brownsburg. Dick and JoAn shared four children; Deborah B. Tingen (Ron), William A. Burnett (Sally), and Jennifer A. Waggoner (Don) survive. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2pm Mon. March 21 at Messiah Lutheran Church, with visitation at the church from 11am to 2pm. Entombment will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
