Richard G. Garvey
Age 85, Brownsburg, passed away Sept. 12, 2013. He had been and Indianapolis Police Motorcycle Officer, retiring in 1976 and had been a member of the Motorcycle Drill Team. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Temple Shrine, and the Retired Police Officers Assoc. Survivors include his wife Betty Garvey; sons Michael (Cheryl) Garvey and Dan (Cynthia) Garvey; brother Robert Garvey; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12 noon Mon. Sept. 16 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation from 10am until noon. Entombment will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens
