Richard (Dick) H. Lewis, 78, of Brownsburg, IN died March 30, 2018. Dick was born April 6, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was husband to Bette June (Farrenkopf) Lewis, since 1960. He was father to Jim Lewis (Kristin), Jodi Lewis Becker (J), and Jennifer Moore (Lee). He was a grandfather (Justin and Sam) and an uncle (Debbie, Terry, Charlotte, Marcy, Michael, Marcy) and a great uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lewis and Pearl Mae Lewis, and sister, Barbara Birchard. Dick lived at, attended, and graduated from the Milton Hershey School in Hershey PA after the early death of his father. He was trained in printing; his first job was at Herbick & Held Printing in Pittsburgh. This work transferred to printing and publishing phone directories with DataComp in Cleveland, OH from 1977-1987 and Volt Information Sciences from 1987-1992. Dick was the ultimate Pittsburgh sports fan and loved his Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins! He was an avid bowler, golfer, and played and coached softball. He was very active in community, being a member of the United Methodist Church, a Mason, and Rotary Clubs. Dick loved his family, his friends, and pretty much everyone. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 27 ^th , 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with lunch following, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 575 W Northfield Dr, Brownsburg, IN 46112.
