Richard Charles Menchhofer

76, Lebanon, passed away on February 21, 2024.  He was a Firefighter for Indianapolis Fire Department retiring after serving 34 years and he owned and operated R and C Construction.  Richard worked for Midwest Transit Equipment for 15 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Doris Menchhofer; brother Kim Menchhofer.  Survivors include his loving wife Shari Menchhofer; daughters Angie McDuffee, Misty Menchhofer; brother Steven Menchhofer; sisters Jerri Menchhofer, Sherri Wright; grandchildren Alexis McDuffee, Gabrielle Villegas, Claudia McDuffee, Tyler Pedigo, Cody Pedigo; great grandchildren Alani Villegas and Gracie Pedigo.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Tues. Feb. 27 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 1 pm.  Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
