Richard G. Roberts
81, Brownsburg, passed away on September 12, 2018. He served in the U.S. Army and was a graduate of Kansas State University. Richard worked in agriculture as a salesman, farmer, and entrepreneur. He was a member of the Pittsboro United Methodist Church and Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was preceded in death by his parents James Marion Roberts and Dorothy Gentry Roberts. Survivors include his wife Dona Roberts; children Phil (Chris) Roberts, Karen Roberts, John (Gidget) Roberts; sister Sally (Gary) Bryan; grandchildren Allison (Pete) Williams, Jacob McNabb, Blaine (Rachel) Roberts, Max (Abby) Roberts, Noah Roberts, and Abbey Roberts. Visitation will be from 2-6 pm on Saturday, September 22 at the Pittsboro United Methodist Church with memorial services there on Sunday, September 23 at 2 pm. Burial will be at the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial gift be made to Life's Journey of Avon In-patient Hospice, 10241 E. CR 100 N., Indianapolis, IN 46234
