Richard E. Smith, age 83, Angola and Brownsburg, passed away April 27, 2014. He worked 35 years for AT&T, was a member of Brownsburg Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star and AT&T Pioneers. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Margaret Smith, 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Frances Smith, Brownsburg, sister Shirley Faucett, and son Richard "Rich" E. Smith II. Memorial services will be 1pm Sat. May 3 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.
