Robert L. Cox, 80, Thorntown, passed away May 10, 2017. Robert graduated from Jackson High School. He had been a machinist for GM Allison Transmission. He held his Journeyman's Card as a Job setter at GM Allison Transmission. He was preceded in death by his wife Eva Florine Byrum Cox. Survivors include children Beckie (Randy) Scott, Debbie (Jerry) Lowry, Cyndee (Vern) Fisher, Robert (Dawn) Cox; sister Joan Hamer; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
