Robert (Rob) J. Gladfelter of Mocksville, North Carolina went to Heaven to reside with God and other members of his family on May 30, 2022.  He was 63 and was born November 13, 1958, in Indianapolis.   He lived on the near westside of Indianapolis where he graduated from Washington High School, class of 1976. He then attended Ball State University where he majored in printing technology and graduated in 1980 magna cum laude.  He had many other awards including blue key.

He joined US Air in 1985 with the first of many management positions he held.  He was transferred to Orlando Florida with US Airways in 1989.  There he met his wife, Mary, where their family grew to four, adding two sons, Killian and Cameron. In 2003, he and his family were once again transferred, this time to Mocksville North Carolina where he retired after 33 years with American Airlines in 2018.   His favorite times were playing with his children and visiting with family.

He especially enjoyed traveling with his mother and father throughout the US prior to his transfer to Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eli and Helen Gladfelter, sister Darlene Barker, nephew Sean Barker, and sister-in-law Kate Gladfelter (Mike).  Survivors include ex-wife Mary Doyle, sons Killian Gladfelter, Cameron Gladfelter; brothers Jim (Carole) Gladfelter, Mike Gladfelter; nieces Jaime (Roy) Falgout, Weslie (Caleb) Williams, Amanda (Dorrin) Gladfelter-Prophet; nephews Logan Gladfelter, and Oliver Gladfelter; niece Sue Blanton Barker (Sean); several great grandnephews and grandnieces.

A celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
