Robert Gene Jenkins
70, Kokomo, passed away October 17, 2022. Robert proudly served in the US Navy from 1970-74 with service in Vietnam. He was the recipient of the Navy Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device and the Meritorious Unit Commendation. He retired from Chrysler Manufacturing in 2002, after 25 years. He was a member of UAW and the Kokomo American Legion. His parents Charles and Delma Jenkins, brother George Jenkins and sisters Barbara Miser, Judy Jenkins and Amy Jenkins preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Kathy Jenkins; children Melissa Sewell and Scott Jenkins; brothers Charlie Jenkins, Jerry Jenkins and John Jenkins; sister Nancy Jenkins; grandson Max Sewell. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm Friday October 21 at Connection Pointe Christian Church, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1pm. Burial with military honors will follow at the Zionsville Cemetery.
