Robert Allen Powell, Sr. 86, went home to be with the lord on September 4, 2021.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolores (McMillan).  Robert was a resident of Brownsburg, IN.

Robert was born in Youngstown, Ohio on January 6 ^th 1935.  He graduated in 1952 from Clairton High School in Pennsylvania and attended the University of Pittsburgh.  He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  After 16 years, he retired from Louisiana Pacific as a Territory Sales Manager.

Robert was a family man who worked very hard at whatever challenge he encountered.  He competed as an excellent swimmer in High School and College.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed working as a ranger at a local golf course.

He was the loving Father to three sons, 1 Daughter-in-Law and 2 grandchildren: sons Robert Allen (Penny) Powell Jr., Richard Wayne Powell and  Steven Kenneth Powell; grandchildren Rees and Caroline Powell.  He is survived by his brother Donald (Irene) Powell.
