Ronald Joseph Cole, 77, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. He was born on June 2, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Herman Wiley Cole Jr. and Ruth Laverne Cole (Fettic). He was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School. After high school he attended General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan, receiving his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation from GMI he joined the Army Reserves in the medical unit, eventually becoming a Personnel Officer. He then completed his law degree from I.U. School of Law, passing the bar in 1974. He was also involved in buying and selling real estate, a passion that continued throughout his life. He established his own title company, Attorney's Title Company, Inc. in 1984. He was managing owner for approximately 25 years. His interests included line dancing as well as instructing, attending Connection Pointe Church, and taking care of his farm in Lizton, IN.

Survivors include his daughter Katie Stout (Allen) and three grandchildren, Cole, Chloe, and Cora. Ronald was preceded in death by brother, Gary L. Cole, and sister, Patricia R. Hummel.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:30am, Saturday, January 12, at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, followed by a memorial service at 11:30am. Burial will take place at K of P Cemetery in Lizton, Indiana at a later date.

The family extends sincere appreciation to the staff of Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living, who provided not only excellent care, but friendship and love.
