Ronald Lee Nardi passed away at his home in Pittsboro on September 19, 2023.  Ron was born in Indianapolis, to Dorothy and Gene Nardi. He graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1957 and spent the next 3 years in the Navy.  In 1960 he married Kay (Olga) Gibson. They had two daughters and resided on the westside of Indianapolis till moving to Hendricks County in 1975. Ronnie worked the nightshift at Allisons for thirty-three years as a tool and die maker and later a foreman.   After retiring at age 53, the couple moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 1993.   Ron was a dedicated and skilled golfer and spent much of his time on the courses.  They traveled to Indiana many times to be a big part of the lives of his children and grandchildren. Ron and Kay returned to Indiana in 2008 residing in Pittsboro where Ron continued his love of golf with friends and neighbors in Quail Creek.  Ron was preceded in death in 2021 by Kay, his wife of 61 years; his brothers Pete and Gene, and two grandsons, Barry, Jr. and Benjamin Conrad.   He is survived by daughters Rhonda (Barry) Conrad, and Kim Nardi; grandchildren, Sarah Faith Conrad (Mikey Volpe), Lydia (Tristan) Mowrey and Bryce Conrad; brother Richard and sister Gina (Bob Welch); several beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews.  Memorial visitation will be from 1 pm to 3 pm Sun. Sept. 24 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with memorial services there at 3 pm.   A private burial is scheduled at a later time.  Contributions can be made to Life's Journey Hospice.
