Ronald Trent
91, Zionsville, formerly of Brownsburg, passed away March 4, 2023. He was a US Navy officer veteran serving from 1954-57. He received his Bachelor degree from Indiana University and his Master's degree in engineering from Purdue University. An aeronautical engineer for Allison, he retired in 1990. A member of Calvary United Methodist Church, he was an avid golfer and traveler. Survivors include his wife Jean Trent; children Douglas Trent (Michele) and Sandy Conner (Andy); brother Bruce Trent; grandchildren James Trent (Katie), Matthew Trent (Rachel), Stephen Trent (Danae), Michaela Wilson (Micah) and Kelsey Shannon (Kevin); 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11am to 12 noon Thursday March 9 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Brownsburg, with funeral at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Brownsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church.
