Rose A.
Henline
October 11, 1952 – September 19, 2025
Rose Alline Henline
72, of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, September 19th with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.
Rose was born as one of eight children to her parents Elmer Joseph Crider Jr. and Myrtice Alline Gosnell-Crider on October the 11th of 1952 in Frankfort, Indiana.
She went on to marry Richard Keith Henline Jr. in October of 1970. Richard preceded her in death in October of 2024.
Survivors include daughter Melissa Jo Henline-Sartin and son-in-law John A. Sartin of Brownsburg, IN; son Richard Keith Henline III and daughter-in-law Lori Birdsong-Henline.
Rose was a proud grandmother (to say the least) of 6, a great-grandmother of 7, and a great-great grandmother of 2. Many others also considered Rose a grandmother despite not being related at all.
One grandchild, Alexander Keith Bee, and one great-great grandchild, Elijah Michael Bollman, preceded her in death.
Out of Rose's seven siblings, survivors include Christopher Crider of Fulton, Missouri, and Randal Crider (wife Kathy Crider) of Hillisburg, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Elmer Joseph Crider III, Clinton Michael Crider, and Ronald Kent Crider, along with sisters Melody A. Anderson and Patricia K. Henline.
Rose had a love for camping, bingo, traveling, holding and spoiling babies, Colts football, all sorts of gambling, socializing and being around friends and family. But absolutely nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday, September 30th at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services taking place at 1pm. Burial will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.
