Rosemarie Dakin

94, New Palestine, passed away on Sun., Aug. 24, 2025.  Rosemarie was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church.  She was the general manager for Raceway Park for many years before becoming the assistant to Secretaries of Indiana, Marge O'Laughlin and Edwin Simcox. After retirement from the State of Indiana, Rosemarie worked as secretary for FACE Spay Neuter Clinic.  She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Dakin; son Bobby Dakin; parents Pasquale and Betty Mongelli.  Survivors include children Debby (Brian) Henderson, Jeff (Linda) Dakin, Pam (Dale) Wagner; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and dog Snuggles.  Funeral Mass will be at 11 am Thurs. Aug. 28 at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 9833 E. CR 750N, Brownsburg, IN  46112.  Burial will be in St. Malachy Cemetery, Brownsburg.
