Rosemary
Wilson
January 4, 1931 – April 2, 2025
Rosemary Wilson, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at 94 years old on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, with family by her side.
Born on January 4, 1931, in Tippecanoe County, IN, Rosemary lived a life full of love, resilience, and warmth that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Sara Mae George, and her brother, Leroy George. She is survived by her dear sister, Ellen Younger, and by her four children, who were the pride and joy of her life: Donn Wilson (Mary), Robin Black, Lance Wilson (Terry), and Trish Williams (Todd). She was a grandmother to twelve and great-grandmother to twenty-one. Family was truly the heart of Rosemary's world. She poured her love into every hug, every laugh, and every moment shared with those she held dear.
Rosemary was a woman of remarkable strength, both in spirit and determination. She faced and survived multiple cancer diagnoses and health challenges throughout her life, never backing down from a fight. She was small in stature but mighty in will, never one to take "no" for an answer when it came to advocating for herself or her loved ones.
Beyond her strength, Rosemary was a beacon of light, full of quirks, humor, and an undeniable sense of style. She found joy in shopping and thrifting, always on the lookout for treasures to share with those she loved. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her unique "isms" were adored by all who knew her.
To know Rosemary was to love her. She was a gem of a human being, bringing warmth and joy wherever she went. Her absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who had the honor of calling her family and friend.
Rest easy, Rosemary. Your love, sweetness, and incredible spirit will live on in all of us.
A celebration of Rosemary's beautiful life will be held at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg, IN, on Monday, April 14 from 11am-1pm.
