Rosenell Alexander Cooney, 98, Brownsburg, passed away March 17. She was a member of the Avon Community Church of God, Brownsburg Homemakers Club and Euchre Club. She was preceded in death by her husband James Cooney; son Jon Cooney; sisters Frances Davis and Ruth Alexander; brothers John Alexander, Donald Alexander, Billy Alexander, and Edwin Alexander. Survivors include son Jan (Janice) Cooney; daughter-in-law Sandy Cooney; grandchildren Jim (Maggie), Jerry (Kelsey) and Jessica Cooney; great grandchildren Mikayla, Arianna, Mallory and Max Cooney. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm Sat. March 19 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Avon Community Church of God.
