Roy C. Vandlandingham

88, Pittsboro, passed away on December 30, 2024.  He was a US Army veteran serving in the 101st Airborne from 1956 to 1958.  Roy worked for Aqua Systems as a master plumber retiring in 2010.  He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Maude Vanlandingham.  Survivors include his wife Carol McGowan and the McGowan family; son Donald (Sue) Vanlandingham; daughter Deborah Couchman; grandson Michael Vanlandingham.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Tues. Jan. 7 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm.  Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens.
