Russell Atkinson
85, Brownsburg, passed away April 2, 2015. He had worked for Duke Energy, formerly Public Service of Indiana, in the land acquisition department retiring in 1993 and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member and former elder at Connection Pointe Christian Church. Survivors include his wife Rebecca Atkinson; children Michael (Kelly) Atkinson, Mark (Corinne) Atkinson, Chris (Ember) Atkinson, and Caryn Atkinson; brother Everett Atkinson Jr.; sisters Edna Albright, Genevieve Olmsted, and Bonnie Elms; five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm Tues. April 7 at Connection Pointe Christian Church, with funeral services there at 1pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Connection Pointe Christian Church.
