Ruth D. Isom Jimmerson
age 88, Avon, went home to be with the Lord Aug. 17, 2012. Born Feb. 10, 1924 in Bloomington, IN to Arthur and Daisy Fox Isom, she worked many years for AT&T both in Indiana and California. She made her home in DeLand, FL until 2010. She was a member of Blake Baptist Church and taught women's Sunday school classes for years. Ruth always wanted to serve. She was preceded in death by husband Beauford Jimmerson, daughter Rhea Lopez, and son John O'Brien. She is survived by sons Buddy Jimmerson and Brian Jimmerson of Florida. Ruth leaves behind a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11am Mon. Aug. 20 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation from 10am. Burial will be at Garrison Chapel Cemetery, Bloomington.
