Sarah Beth Martinez (Harris)

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Sarah Beth Martinez, a beloved wife, sister, and friend. Sarah departed this world surrounded by the warmth of cherished memories, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and love that will forever be treasured by all who knew her.

Born on March 29, 1963, in Kokomo, Indiana, Sarah was the daughter of the late Verl Kenneth Harris and Alice Lucille Harris. From the very beginning, Sarah's gentle spirit and compassionate heart shone brightly, touching everyone she encountered. Her childhood in Indiana, surrounded by the love of her family, instilled in her a deep sense of loyalty and empathy that would become the hallmark of her life.

Sarah was preceded in death by her loving parents, Verl and Alice Harris, and her dear sister, Martha Jean Pirtle. Though she is reunited with them in eternal peace, her absence will be deeply felt by those she leaves behind.

Sarah is survived by her husband, John Martinez. She also leaves behind her loving sister, Ruth Ellen Shelley; her brothers, Verl Allen Harris and Mark David Harris; and countless extended family members and friends who were blessed to know her.

Sarah's memory will live on not only in the hearts of her family, but also in the small, everyday moments that she made special.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

Though Sarah has left this earthly realm, her spirit of love and kindness will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, dear Sarah. Your light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved you.

A public visitation will be held from 10 am to 12 noon on Thursday, January 15 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services to follow at 12 noon. Sarah will then be laid to rest in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
