Shane Alan Halbrook Col. USAF (Ret.)

59, Avon, passed away on February 22, 2022.  He retired after 37 years of service from the United States Air Force.  He received his Bachelor's degree from Indiana State University and Master's degree from Western Governors University.  He was preceded in death by his father Richard Halbrook; mother and step father Carleen and Harlan Elliott; sister Margaret Clutter.  Survivors include his wife Tammy Halbrook and sister Marie Martin.  Memorial visitation will be from 4-7 pm Wed. Mar. 9 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with Celebration of Life services with Full Military Honors there at 7 pm.
