Shirley Wethington Ellis
age 73, Brownsburg, passed away Feb. 3, 2012. She had retired from Ford Motor Co. in 2001and prior to that worked as a waitress for the Coral Inn and Pick'em Inn restaurants, and worked for the Hendricks Co. Guide Gazette. She was a member of Connection Point Christian Church, 32 year member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 331, and Moose Lodge Chapter 925 New Port Richey, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband John H. Ellis. Survivors include daughter Vicky Ellis Chastain; son Jeff (Lorie) Ellis; grandchildren Julia (Nikki) Chilewski, Codee Tetrick, Taylor LaMonte, L.J. Ellis, and Chad Ellis. Funeral services will be 1pm Mon. Feb. 6 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 11am to 1pm. Burial will be at Sparks Cemetery, Pittsboro.
