Shirley Myers, 75, of Osprey, FL died in Asheville, NC on July 12, 2012. Shirley was born February 12, 1937 in Scottsville, KY to Katie (Carter) and Bickley Casada. She was the owner of Shirley's Beauty Shop in Indianapolis, IN for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Myers. Survivors include her companion of many years, Eric West; her children, Delores Ross of Indianapolis, Morris Ghent of Franklin, IN and Steve Ghent of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Katherine Parris of Peoria, IL, Barbara Willoughby of Scottsville, KY; brothers, Melvin Casada of Alabama and Arcie Casada of Indianapolis. A memorial service will be held at the Venice Masonic Lodge on Tuesday, July 17th at 2:00 PM. Also a memorial service at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, Wednesday, July 25 with gathering at 12pm and service at 1pm. Family prefers, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Shirley's favorite charity "Child ID program" at Venice Masonic Lodge 118 E. Venice Ave. Venice FL 34285.
