Simon Azamat Risch
Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away on October 29, 2024 at 21 years old. He was a
graduate of Brownsburg High School. Many knew him as Simon but at home he
was Azamat. He is survived by his parents Jim and Kim, his brother Fairman, his
Oma Tweetie, his Great-aunt Mary-Ann, his aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a
world of supportive friends. He was preceded in death by his Oma Risch, Uncle
(Oom) Kevin, Uncle Tom, and his beloved pets Ertella, Kiwi, Stitch, Harriet, and
Frank.

Azamat came home to us at age 5 and we are grateful for the 16+ years we had
with him. We will forever miss his warm smile, his silliness, and his loving care for
animals and people. As a kid, he enjoyed sports and was a sprinting force on the
soccer field. As a young adult, he loved to be outside with nature and read books
about history, philosophy, and religion. Azamat liked traveling with his family,
especially a trip to Disney World last year.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Good
Samaritan Episcopal Church at Harris Academy, 725 S. Green Street, Brownsburg,
Indiana. Service will begin at 11:00A EST with reception after at 12:00P in the
cafeteria. A live stream of the Service will be available for those who wish to attend
but cannot. Details regarding access to the live stream will be posted soon.
