Stephanie M. Baker

56, of Brownsburg, passed away on May 8th, 2026. Stephanie was born in Indianapolis to her beloved mother Clemmie Mae Redmond on December 23rd, 1969. In her early career, she proudly served in the United States Army from 1989 to 1991, being primarily stationed in North Carolina. After her military service, Stephanie worked as a respected corrections officer in Marion County Indiana as well as the state of California. She also continued her education by earning her Bachelor’s degree.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her cherished children Dominique Mays, Kayla Bush, and Kirsten (Tavon) Jefferson; as well as her grandchildren Kairo Mays, Kendri Bush, and Jonah Jefferson.

Family and friends will celebrate Stephanie’s life privately.
