Stephen A. Ballard

72, Brownsburg, passed away May 20, 2026. He worked as a welder and pipefitter for Local 440 prior to working for Ford Motor Company where he retired in 2005 after over 18 years. He loved vintage cars and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Known to be a witty jokester, he also loved pets and fixing up old bicycles. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents Tommy and Harriett June Waggoner Ballard and sister Marsha Moore. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Pauline Ballard, and a brother Danny Ballard (wife Missy). Visitation will be from 12pm to 2pm Wednesday May 27 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 2pm. Burial will follow at the Lizton K of P Cemetery.
