Stephen A. Harlan

70, of Brownsburg, passed away August 17, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. Steve was a wonderful encourager, full of optimism, and assured in his salvation.  He loved spending time with family, traveling with his wife and friends and being creative in his woodshop.  Steve was a US Navy veteran serving from 1974-78 on the USS John F. Kennedy.  He had retired from Premier Power Maintenance where he served as the Corporate Account Manager for High Voltage accounts.  He was a member of the Brownsburg Church of Christ, member and Co-Chairmen of Hendricks County Master Gardeners, and Hendricks Regional Health Patient Family Advisory Council.  He was preceded in death by his father Byrl Harlan.  Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Deborah Harlan; daughter Erica Cosat (husband Jason); grandchildren Maxine and Jett Cosat.  mother Dolores Harlan; sister Clarissa Harlan Shepherd (husband Michael). A private service will be held graveside, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 31st at the Cartlidge Barn and Pavilion at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds from 3 to 5pm.
