Steven Allen Bock, 49, passed away on June 20, 2017 at his home. Steve was born August 29, 1967 to Larry and Frances (McNeary) Bock in Rapid City, South Dakota. He graduated from Stevens High School, Rapid City in 1985. He received his Bachelor of Science from South Dakota State University in 1989. Steve went on to receive a Master of Science in Microbiology from South Dakota State University in 2003. During his career, he worked for Kroger and ConAgra. Steve was an avid sports fan especially baseball. During college, he was an accomplished pitcher for the South Dakota State Jack Rabbits. He also was passionate about the NFL Minnesota Vikings. His greatest love was his children Megan and Jared. He cherished spending time with family and friends. Steve was a skillful grill master and on many weekends, would be found grilling up his favorite steak and preparing mouthwatering fajitas using his secret Southwest rub. He is survived by his daughter Megan H. Bock, son Jared R. Bock, mother Francis Bock, brother David Bock, nieces Victoria and Brittany Bock, nephew Houston Bock, Aunts, Uncle and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Larry W. Bock. A memorial for Steve will be held on July 8, 2017 @ Arbuckle Acres Park, 200 N. Green St., Brownsburg, IN in Shelter 6 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Family, friends, neighbors and co-workers are welcome to share their memories during this time.
