Teresa A.
Prevatt
November 15, 1962 – April 30, 2025
Teresa A. Prevatt
62, Danville, passed away on April 30th, 2025. She was a retired relocation agent for Boomerang Ventures LLC for many years. Among other incredible careers she has enjoyed throughout her life. Teresa was preceded in death by her husband John (Doug) Prevatt; parents Jim and Sandy Williams. Survivors include her daughter Kelsey Prevatt (Tyler Erbe); sister Paula (Tommy) Burton; brother Matt (Kathy) Williams; niece Nicole (Milford) Harber; nephew Mitchell (Kristin) Burton; nephew Logan (Jelena) Williams; nephew Luke (Carli) Williams. Great niece Quinlynn, Bella; great nephew Milford, Silas. Not to mention a slew of great nephew and niece dogs whom she puppy-sat for every chance she got.
Teri, as we all came to know her since Teresa just had too many letters for her liking, was a Brownsburg native. Graduated from BHS in 1981 and went on to work at Allison's Transmission alongside many of her family members and dear friends. She met the love of her life shortly thereafter and moved to South Carolina, trading in cornfields for the beach, but never missing an Indy 500 race on the TV. After the passing of her husband, she moved back to Brownsburg with her daughter and has thrived here for the past 28 years. Spending her days at the pool with family/friends, attending sporting events, choir concerts and competitions, and being an ever-present figure in her family and friends' lives. Teri was the best person to see walking through a door, because you'd know she'd have her signature crab dip or dill pickle dip in hand to share. She was a woman whose love and generosity knew no bounds.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 31st from 12:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. at the home of her sister Paula (Tommy) Burton. 3398 Matepaw Lane Danville, IN 46122. Teri wanted nothing more than those she loves to gather in happiness and remembrance of her. Guests are encouraged to come in their best beach/Jimmy Buffett, Star Trek, Star Wars, Indiana Jones-esque attire as these were her favorite things. If you have it on your heart to do something in her honor, please make a donation to your local animal shelter or simply continue to be a kind and gracious human being. Teri thrived in bringing happiness and peace to others and she would love nothing more for that legacy to be continued. We will miss you Mom/Teri/AuntTT/sister/Aunt/cousin/friend. "The weather is here, wish you were beautiful." - Jimmy Buffett.
