Terry Joseph Bruning
75, Indianapolis, passed away on August 17, 2023.  He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran.  Terry received his Bachelors of Science degree from Butler University and an Executive MBA from Indiana University.  He received the prestigious Sagamores of the Wabash award and was a member of VFW, Clermont Lions Club, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and AMVETS. Terry spent his career and retired from the banking industry.  From 2008 to 2014, he worked as the State Adjutant Quartermaster for the VFW Dept. of Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Charlotte Bruning; brother Mike (Brenda) Bruning.  Survivors include his wife Marsha Bruning; son Jason Bruning; step son Tony (Allison) Shriner; stepdaughter Michelle (Jason) Stewart; brother Keith (Nancy) Bruning; 16 grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm Tues. Aug. 22 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 pm.  Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery.
