Theresa M. Ploughe

84, of Brownsburg, passed away on October 9th, 2026. Theresa was born in Indianapolis to her parents Patrick J. and Mary (Barlow) Wynne on March 28th, 1942. Following her early education, she went on to work at Aircraft in Avon, Indiana, before moving on to work with Gene Ploughe Real Estate for many years prior to her retirement. Theresa was also a faithful member of St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Larry Wynne; sisters Ann Wynne and Kathleen Givan; beloved husband Gene Ploughe. Theresa is survived by her children Shannon (Brian) Guinn, A.J. (Katy) Ploughe, and Pat Ploughe (fiancé Julie Lucas); brother Patrick (Stephanie) Wynne; grandchildren Lauren (Brandon) Davis, Brendan Ploughe, Cara Ploughe, Kate Ploughe, Brittany Simmons, and Kirsten (Mason) Parks; great grandchildren Amelia, Maddie, and Sam Davis and Garrett and Isla Simmons.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th from 4 pm to 7 pm at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services held at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 9833 E County Rd 750 N, Brownsburg, IN 46112, the following day, Thursday, October 15th at 12 pm. Theresa will then be laid to rest in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.
