Thomas Edward Grote 76, Brownsburg, passed away on January 23, 2012. He owned and operated Grote Lighting now known as Culture Lighting for 31 years retiring in 2004. He was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church, St. Christopher Catholic Church, Brownsburg American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife Catherine Doris Grote; children, Lisa (Steve) Gading, Angela Norrick, Bryan Grote; sister, Mary Ann Hammerle; brothers, Leo, Terry, Dan, Bill, Jack, and Joe Grote; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, January 27 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at St. Malachy Church at 10 a.m. on January 28 with visitation there from 9 a.m. Burial will be at St. Malachy West Cemetery.
