Thomas Levi Mayse, age 82, Holiday, FL, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2014. Tom "Bud" was born on December 30, 1931 to the late Thomas and Clara Mayse. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Sprowl Mayse; his three children Rebecca Lewman (Steve), Ramona Kelly (Don), David Mayse (Michelle); two step-children Chris Whitmore (Wendy) and Lydia Sirugo; seven grandsons Nathaniel Lewman (Andrea), Ryan Lewman (Stephanie), Jacob Kelly (Kelsey), Patrick Kelly, Noah Mayse, Jonah Mayse, Joshua Mayse; two step-grandchildren Nicholas Whitmore and Megan Whitmore; two great grandchildren Benjamin Lewman and Aubree Lewman. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Lea Bland and June Hyde (Frank), with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first love and wife of 59 years, Betty Jane Mayse, much loved grandson, Matthew Dean Kelly, brother, Harold Mayse, sisters Gladys Soens, Lillie Belle Soens, and Willa Jean Spencer. Visitation will be from 2-5pm Sun. April 27 at Matthews Mortuary , Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 10am Mon. April 28.
