Timothy John Moran

Born October 10, 1962

Passed April 14, 2026. Age 63

Beloved son, brother, uncle and father.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Martin F. Moran Sr., son, Ian Moran, sister-in-law, Mary Lou Moran, and nephew Mark Moran.

He is survived by his mother, Clara Moran and his brothers, Martin F. Jr. (Onda), Daniel, Andrew (Susan), and his sister Annette Haut (Richard). He had many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews who loved him. He also had a strong group of friends and many others who loved him.

Tim loved art and music, proudly and loudly playing his trombone with the band PolkaBoy and Der Polkatz through the years. He was often irreverently funny and his favorite humor was a good pun. He loved to remember and tell stories and was an all-around loving and caring person. His kind actions impacted more people than we will ever know, as he did it quietly and humbly. He also never lost his love of LEGO from his very first set when he was a kid.

A Celebration of Life for Tim will be held at The Rathskeller in Indianapolis on Wednesday, May 20, from 6-9 pm in the ballroom. Tim’s friends and family are welcome. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery with his son Ian at a private ceremony.
