Tommy Ballard

92, Elkhart, formerly from Brownsburg, passed away on Jan. 23, 2022.  He retired as a supervisor from Ford Motor Co. after 31 years.  A proud US Navy Veteran,   Tommy was a member of the Brownsburg American Legion and Brownsburg Masonic Lodge.  He volunteered at Hendricks Regional Health Hospital and Indianapolis Raceway Park.  He was an active member in the Methodist Church.  He also served on the Brownsburg Police Commission.  Tommy was preceded in death by his first wife Harriett June Ballard and daughter Marsha Moore.  Survivors include his loving wife of 16 years Charlotte Ballard; sons Steve (Pauline) Ballard, Danny (Missy) Ballard; step children Tina Fisher, Brian McCartney; grandchildren Chris Moore, Jesse Ballard, Courtney Wells; step grandchild Matthew Anderson; 7 great grandchildren.  Graveside services with Military Honors will be at 2 pm Wed. Nov. 8 at Lizton K of P Cemetery in Lizton, IN.
