Victoria Lynn Johnson
53, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on September 20th of 2025 leaving behind a legacy of laughter, compassion, and unwavering love.
Born on January 29th, 1972, in Indianapolis, Victoria was the daughter of Patricia (Kern) Winegardner and Rick Bales. She attended Pike High School and remained in Indiana throughout her life.
Victoria was a devoted and loving mother, not only to her two children Austin and Lauren, but also to Kayla and Brandon, whom she welcomed into her heart as her own.
She had a magnetic personality and a smile that could light up any room. Victoria had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor, always ready with a joke or a well-timed movie quote (especially from her favorite comedies). She was a loyal viewer of just about every show on the E! Network and loved keeping up with pop culture and celebrity drama.
Above all, Victoria was selfless, deeply caring, and made everyone feel seen and valued. Her ability to lift people up — whether through a kind word, a warm hug, or shared laughter — will be remembered by all who knew her.
Victoria is preceded in death by her sister Joie Bales and stepfather Stanley Winegardner. She is survived by her mother Patricia Winegardner and father Walter "Rick" Bales; children Austin (Sydney) Johnson, Kayla (Barret) Bohm, Brandon Johnson, Lauren Johnson, and Nicholas Hopkins; brothers Rick (Pam) Bales and Matthew (Heather) Bales.
